How to evaluate About blocks
Choose an About composition by the story it must clarify: a company origin, a product philosophy, a working process, or a mission. Start with the audience’s unanswered question, then replace every sample fact with concise, supportable language from the real organisation.
Fit the section into the surrounding information hierarchy before changing its surface. Long-form narratives need comfortable reading widths and ordered headings; timeline or value-led variants need a sensible sequence that still reads clearly when columns collapse on a narrow screen.
Review names, dates, milestones, team details, and claims with the people responsible for them. Check that imagery has permission and useful alternatives, that the page does not manufacture authority, and that a visitor can reach supporting work, contact, or policy information.
For handoff, record the owner of each factual section and the date it was last checked. Give implementation a content outline, approved media, responsive priority, and destinations for every link. Also define what the page should show when a biography, milestone, or supporting image is withdrawn, so future maintenance does not replace a missing fact with an unreviewed placeholder.
